Marc Zboch
My name is Marc Zboch. I spent years hunched over computers, building tech companies. Prolonged sitting and damaging exercises led to 15 years of excruciating back pain.
I bought expensive chairs, mattresses, inversion tables, and support belts. I tried yoga, core workouts, accu-pressure, accu-puncture, and chiropractic. Nothing worked..
Orthopedic doctors told me I needed surgery. This was appealing. Could this be a permanent solution? These guys are doctors, they must have my best interest in mind.
It was tempting… but I had watched older relatives go through repeated surgeries. They would get better, but the bad movements that caused their back pain were still there. So the solution to failed surgery became more failed surgery.
Plus I had read the Ohio Workman’s Compensation study where 1,450 patients, recommended for disc-related surgery, were separated into two groups. Half had surgery and half didn’t, even though they had comparable diagnoses.
After two years, only 26% of the surgery group returned to work versus 67% who did not have surgery. Those that had lumbar fusion had 36% complication rates and 27% needed an additional operation. The surgery group had a permanent disability rate of 11% versus 2% for non-surgery. The surgery group also had high opioid addictions and early death.
For some people, surgery is necessary, but for a damaged disc,* I wanted a natural way to heal my back.
I devoured medical journals and clinical studies. I didn’t want opinions, I wanted facts.
I ran across a medical school textbook on back pain written by a biomechanics professor in Canada. His name is Stuart McGill. He conducted a tremendous number of clinical studies and is arguably the most respected back expert in the world.
Oddly, he is not a medical doctor, just as Elon Musk is not an engineer. McGill is an expert on biomechanics, which is the study of how the body moves.
So instead of prescribing pain pills or fusing vertebrae together, he figures out what movements are causing back pain and the changes that need to be made in order to heal.
McGill is the “myth buster” for all kinds of back treatments, advice, home remedies, and exercises.
He proved how exercises and stretches that I thought were helping my back were actually causing more damage and keeping me from healing.
I put together a team of researchers and reviewed over 200 clinical studies to determine what works and what doesn’t.
This information changed my life. I could finally drive cross country and work without pain. Now my workouts include running and even deadlifts… which is something I never imagined I could do.
We created the 23 Disc program to help as many people as possible. In the time it takes to watch a movie, you could better understand your back pain and how to fix it.
It’s totally free and supported by The Marc Zboch Philanthropic Organization. Special thanks to Dr. Richard Dayo and Dr. Joe McLaughlin.
Blessings,
Marc Zboch

In most cases, back pain is not a life-threatening condition. But there are particular back pain causes such as cancer, infection and CES that need to be diagnosed and treated by a physician.
While you should always talk to a doctor before beginning any health-related program, it is especially important if you have any of the following symptoms:
